Upcoming Workshop in October
Flow, Restore and Sound
This workshop is an opportunity to find our rhythm, restore our body and mind, and enter Autumn more balanced.
Using medidation, yoga, and sound, we will create a space for quiet self-reflection, to help us face the range of emotions and thoughts this season brings, often centered around change, reflection, and letting go.
The workshop will start with a meditation practice. We will then move and stretch with a slow yoga flow. This will lead into restorative yoga, a practice focused on physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
The workshop will finish with sound meditation, an immersive experience that uses sound waves to promote relaxation, healing and mindfulness.
Classes

Restorative Yoga and Mini Sound Bath
Restorative yoga is a passive, meditative practice designed to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting deep relaxation and stress reduction by holding gentle poses for extended periods (5+ minutes).
Utilising props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks, it allows for total physical support, aiming for comfort and stillness rather than stretching.
The session finishes with a mini sound bath, an immersive experience using soothing sounds and vibrations to deepen relaxation, support healing and cultivate mindfulness.
Every Friday at 19.15 at Dragonfly Yoga Studio
For all levels

Children’s Yoga
Children’s Yoga is a playful, creative, and non-competitive practice that adapts traditional poses into fun, imaginative stories, songs and games.
It enhances physical strength, coordination, and flexibility while teaching mindfulness, emotional regulation, and relaxation techniques to improve focus and reduce stress in children.
Every first Sunday of the month at 10.45 at Dragonfly Yoga Studio
